Im looking to build a bike for/with my brother. I currently have an 87 lt250r so i want to build one between 85-92. Now I just dont know what would be the best bet to go after. I love my bike and would like to be able to use it as a reference. Any recommendations? Also where is a good place to get a frame and some parts to get started at a reasonable price? Thanks All!!

 

build a hybrid. Lt250 with LT500 motor. I am starting one this spring. There are many options for Lt250 suspension and you can not beat the power of the LT500. Dr Q makes a pipe for this and I would recomend 87's the 500 motor has a larger intake and larger studs solve any issues with blowing the head off of the motor. Just takes a couple mods to the frame to get it to fit. Good luck

 

Aqua....if your just looking to build a bike and don't wanna spend to much then your best bet is an 85 or 86 model. You can get the parts alot cheaper as they are not sought after as much!!! You really gotta figure out what you want to build. Just a bike....a fast bike, crazy bike????
