I have been looking for a snow plow for my Ozark 250. I have not been able to find one. Does anyone out there know who might make a universal snow plow for a small quad like mine?

 

You didn't look hard enough. Here you are, http://www.cyclecountry.com/products/showPage.asp?id=31 I'd carry a shovel and get chains for it too. I've had to dig my 4wd Eiger out while mounding the snow up, I'm thinking a 2wd won't have enough traction without chains.

 

Yeah there's a couple of members here with plows on their Ozarks, probably hook my wife's up with one next winter. From what I gather, they don't do too bad as long as the snow dosen't get too deep.

 

I'm no expert - but I do have a plow on my KQ 450 and I couldn't move much snow at all - until I dropped it into 4 WD, Low Range.

I also have a 250 Honda Recon - I wouldn't even consider putting a plow on it...a great machine but too light duty for plowing.

Put some wieght on the trailer hitch and you will be fine. To the feller who spewed it won't plow much snow, GET A LIFE!!!!!!!!!![img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img] Every other snow fall is over 10 inches. No problems so far. Mines an 02 Ozark. Anyone who tells you, you need a bigger quad to plow snow, must be a salesmen.

 

I plow snow with mine. If you have snow chains it works really well.
