Hows it goin everyone?? I havnt been here in along time. New graphic kit on the website seems pretty cool kind of confusing. I got a question about a 1991 LT250R that I'm supposed to buy, do these old 2 stroke allways blow up? or are they pretty reliable I know i had some bad luck with my 85' RM125 i just want to know how these 250r's hold up.

My bud had a 250r. He blew it up running from the cops. I guess they all end the same way, unless you always drive like grandma.... Its just a matter of time till you push it too hard for too long. How long that amount of time is though, is up to you.

I had a friend that had a habit of blowing up cars. 9 outta 10 cars he ever owned blew up. The other 1 outta 10 he wrecked. Some people are just prone to it.

Btw, How is that 250s holding up for ya?

 

ya these lt 250rs do have problems my buddy blew his up plus he went over a small bump and broke his frame by the front shock mounts.

2 strokes of all types just need more regular maintenance.. LOTS of high RPM's = lots of vibration.. Just have yer wrenchs and lock tite handy![img]i/expressions/beer.gif[/img]
