Default SERIAL NUMBER BREAKDOWN

Good thoughts all. I hope to work on it tomorrow night. I did a few cursory web queries with no luck...looking for a free pdf service manual. The babbitt's online gets some pretty good exploded views of things that it might be enough to show what I need. Service manual would be good though. Trying not to spend any money on this..other than gas. I can't wait to get out an ride. Of course 6 ' of snow pack in the woods will just get me into big trouble.

A manual is a must if you plan on doing some real work to the engine. There is no way you'll know some things you need to know w/o it. If all you're doing is carb work n stuff like that, you can get away with just basic small engine knowledge.
