i have a 85 230 and i was wondering if anybody knows anything about having the swingarm exteded? also curious about big bore kits and where to get them?

 

I'm in the process of extending my swingarm 4 inches. BigMc has already done it to his. Somebody around here managed to find a +4 swingarm on ebay a while ago. It looks nice with no weld marks, but I have no clue where to find another. I'm a weld-a-holic and will weld anything if given a chance, so a longer swingarm is like a hobby to me.

what is the kustom kraft web site? what would you charge to weld up a swing arm? put up some pics of yours when your done welding. the a-arms you did look great, how much weight did that add?

I don't know what to charge (I've never charged anyone nor ever paid to have anyone do welding for me).... What would you pay to have it extended? [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

It will be a little while before I can get any pics up. I'm in the middle of building a much needed backhoe. I think I have pics of my a-arms that I welded longer on my bio page. If not I have a set of pics showing the progress I can post if you're interested.

I bought about 4 sets of a-arms off ebay. I plan to weld them longer and offer them up on ebay for sale and see how that goes. Maybe I can get a little custom-fab atv business going. Never know.
