Default How to patch your holey muffler...

Just a quick solution to a problem many seem to experience when you are dealing with quads that are ten years plus. This is what I did with great results. If you have a hole (any size really, as long as it's not trash) cut the top and bottom off of a soda can. Then buy two Sewer pipe clamps (this is the size perfect for the stock KQ muffler). Cut the modified can down the middle so that you might wrap it around your muffler. I turned mine inside out so that I wasn't doing any free advertising, LOL. Place clamps, tighten and wow, your quad is nice and quiet again. Pretty brainless, but thought it might help a few fellow weekend warriors. Peace

I did the same thing with my old exhaust except it was a beer can and i lefft it right way out [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif[/img]
