Bighorn's vs. Mudlites
I've had a 07 450 K.Q for about a month. It has new 25" 6 ply Mudlites (the cheapest Mudlites). I just purchased a 07 700 K.Q. the other day with new 26" 6 ply radial Bighorns. The dealer installed a clutch kit in the 700.
Very little arm/shoulder effort or muscle is required to steer the mudlites. Not so with the bighorns. Mudlites ride very smooth and track pretty straight. Bighorns ride a little rough and don't seem to track as well as the mudlites. Mudlites do well in snow but so far the bighorns seem to do better as they don't dig down as fast.
The bighorns are a lot tougher and heavier tire. This is the one that I will trust when doing any real 4-wheeling. Both machines have the necessary power to move their respective tires without any problem, even through somewhat slushy snow that I got high centered in a few times.
