I am embarassed to post this question, but here it goes... I just bought a used Suzuki Vinson, I think it is a 2004. I bought an oil filter and was looking at the quad last night and didn't see any obvious places where an oil filter would go. Do I need to take off the plastic fairings? And do I need to take off the large metal shroud on the right side of the motor to access the oil filter. Obviously I didn't get an owner's manual with the bike.

 

on an 06 eiger it is on the froont of the motor to get to it you have to take off one of the inner mudguards maybe it is the same as the vinson
