I just found an old Suzuki 4 Wheeler in a garage near my home. It only has a tag that has Model LT230GF on it The motor has a number 500mm and these are the only numbers on the whole machine. Does any one no anything about this machine and how old it could be? It does start up but needs to be gone through. Also how much oil will it hold and how far up in the site glass on the side of the motor should it be. Thanks for any help I may recieve

 

It's probably an '85 to '87. Are you sure it doesn't say "GE"instead of "GF"?

If it's like other Suzuki sight glass for oil, 3/4 to 7/8 up the glass is full.

i own one of those suzuki 230s they are very strong and reliable i have literaly tried to blow up my 230 and it just wont die as for how old the one you found is im not sure i thimk mine hold like 1 1/2 quarts of oil about 3/4 on the eyeglass anyway have fun with it
