Default finding parts for lt250r's

Well the lt250r's are about 20 years old now. I am just wondering if it is a pain the the a$$ to find parts for them such as gaskets, bearings, pistons, whatever. The usual stuff that may have worn out after 20 years.

PS: What would the condition be of the transmission after about 1000hours of use? Because, i'm pretty sure that replacing the tranny is quite pricey. (assuming they ride 50 hours a year for 20 years)

PS#2: How do the old lt250r's ride? i've sat on a kfx450r and it feels decent. Will an lt250r feel somewhat the same as a 450- except lighter..... Will it also be able to keep up to a crf450r (mx dirtbike) if the crf450r never goes 5th gear pinned?

PS#3: What is a normal price for a nice 87 lt250r with some goodies such as fmf pipes, nerfbars.

Default finding parts for lt250r's

There are tons of parts still avabile. I bought a lt250r a few weeks ago and have had great luck finding parts. The thing that sucks is the oem parts are costly.
