renting a truck to pick up my new king quad 450, what size bed?
#11
Any quad will fit in any pick-up bed (with the tailgate down) except for odd types like the Hummer SUT. My brother can haul his Artic Cat 700 TRV in a 1/2 ton Chevy crew cab - has the 5'-3" bed. In addition to straps, brind some blocks for the front wheels to make sure that the front bumber doesn't punch out your back window. Even better, load the quad backwards for a better fit.

Careful! Some quads have wheelie bars sticking out the back that is lined up perfectly to break your back glass. I almost did that once. The glass bent and bounced instead of breaking.... Whew!
