You are likely going to need to post more information in order to get a decent answer. When does the light come on? When you first turn the key... When you start the quad... After riding it for some time? I assume that all fluids have been checked? Has this been a problem since you first got this quad? Was it brand new when you got it?

I purchased this quad used and it had this problem then. The light comes on when you turn the key.All the fluids are ok.YOu can get it to go out if you turn the key on and of a couple of times. Seems like to me a sensor is bad ,dont seem to affect how it runs.

The hot light I beleive is also the FI light as well. Go in an get it checked for any codes. Also unplug the ecm and see if the pins and connector are caroded.

I've been having the temp light issue since about Feb (on my 07 700 too).

During a few winter rides, it went on after I hit some water. I thought the steam may have triggered the sensor but wasn't sure. The dealer couldn't duplicate it.

I rode 50 + miles this past Saturday and had no problems (even after getting winched out of a deep puddle / mud). Then after cleaning the machine and double checking the radiator was clear I rode on Monday (about 25 miles) and had to stop 4 or 5 times to let the fan run and cool down til the light went off. It was a harder ride on Monday. More slow technical trails and I think that may have had something to do with it.

It's been hard to pinpoint but at least I have more data to give the dealer this time around. It's going in on Saturday. I'll post back if they find something.

Also, since the ignition recall, my battery has been draining and needed to be jumped 3 times in the last 2 weeks to start it.

ok,this one dont seem to have anything to do with the temp.one day it does good, the next cant get it to stay off.I have sprayed out the radiator, still the same. I think its what the other feller was talking bout.I am going to check the ecm connection when i am home.Another thing that makes me beleive that is it usually runs fine with the light on,the fan will kick on and off like it should. But every now and then it wont even start till u screw with the key,and get the light to go off.I even disconnected the battery one time to get it to go off.Any how i will figure it out sooner or later.By the way ,does Alb mean albuquerque by any chance,if so i am bout an hour west of there.
