Default Eiger front Beariings

Hey guys

Have the Eiger on the lift now and noticed some play in the front left wheel. About 1/8-1/4 of a inch when you wiggle the wheel top to bottom. My guess is the bearing is going(1700kms). Is this to much play or can I keep going for a bit.

Thanks

Any play is bad in wheel bearings, they should have no play and spin freely. Mine went bad very quickly ...about 650 miles.

Default Eiger front wheel bearings

Did you change the bearings yet? I have a 2004 and my front wheels are all over the place I cannot put it off any longer, it just seems like a big job I purchased a 2 sets of bearings on ebay for $33.00 I think they are all *****, but any help would be nice, I will also take a few pics and post info. I did buy a nice little shelter for it to, at www.superiorshelter.com if anyone else out there needs a workshop for you atv mine has come in handy.

Its not a hard job,the hardest part is getting the new bearing in the hub without banging the new bearing up. Just bring the hub and bearing to a local garage and they will slip it in for you cheap and quick then put it back together yourself.

Here is the instructions.http://www.exriders.com/archive/topic/222231-1.html
