LT50 clutch stuck

LT50 clutch stuck
One of my LTA50s has a problem where the clutch is stuck engaged. The wheels are locked to the compression so it won't start. It just goes forward when you pull the cord.
I've found two other threads where people describe the same problem, but nobody ever answered with a solution. The other threads:
http://forums.atvconnection.co...id=10&threadid=472178
http://forums.atvconnection.co...id=10&threadid=459583
I pulled the motor and removed the clutch and other than some heat discoloring on the clutch drum everything looks fine, but when you tighten the big nut it locks the drum to the crank. Shoes, springs washers are all in place. It's almost like a bearing is out or something.
I feel stupid here, what am I missing?
