front drive shaft repair
#1
Hey there:
I have a 2001 suzuki 300 and the front right wheel is loose/squeeks. I have taken off the wheel and brake drum to inspect the drive shaft and other parts involved. I have already changed the back drive shaft after it broke in two (frozen). That repair was fairly eazy. Now the front is looking harder to do. I need either a picture of the parts or a little help with written info. Now it looks like the upper and lower arms need to be removed in order to remove the shaft to see what is wrong. It doesn't appear to be cracked or spilt. I am wondering if there is something missing. This frontend issue happened after I cleaned all the 50-60lbs of mud off of it LOL.

Well I am happy to report that the job is done. I had some trouble, but I did it with no help and a bummed arm. Took her out for a test run on my trails and had no problems making it up Heart Attack hill or on the Washboard trail.
