i think the valves on my 03 suzuki z400 are tapping and i heard it was normal but its louder on mine than my friends new suzuki z450. i bought valve shims and did not install yet but i was wondering if anyone has any knowledge or advice on problem. thanks

 

since the bike is 5 years old its due for the valves to be adjusted, with the right tools and the service manual you can do it yourself in about 1 to 2 hrs,
