Default 2002 LT80 ...no power..Help

I just got an 02 LT80 for my daughter & when I got it the guy said it quit running while riding & woulnt start again...I messed around & finally got it to start when I drained th carb bowl....it will idle all day, but when i hit the trottle it wants to die....I did clean the carbs after this & still the same thing...I did notice crack that was fixed in the lower case by the recoil with JB weld & am now wondering if it crank seals or some thing,,,what could cuase this behavior????PLease helpppp

And you removed the jets and cleaned them plus you looked thru them to insure something isn't stuck in the main jet?

Check the compression.

Just re-read, The crack:: I think it's on the clutch cover not the cases. You can check to make sure.

We've went this far, might as well check the reed. FYI: put hex head bolts back in.
It will start but I'm starting to wonder about the stator and cdi. May have to do a ohm test if the reed isn't it.
