Default Removing baked-on mud from engine??

Hi Guys,
I'm thinking of buying this used LT230 engine but I'm concerned about how hard it may be to make it look decent.
Has anyone found something to make this a simple job?
Thanks,
Rick

PS, How do you post pictures?

product called b52 degreaser, developed by the military, has acid in it to bleach the aluminum back to silver, keep away from nice polished aluminum and clean up

Thanks Hoover!
Have you used this? How did you keep it off the cases? I think my cases are anodized.
