First off this is one of the best forums I've found on the web! Thanks for all the GREAT info.

Looking at buying my first ATV. I've spent hours upon hours reading about the pros/cons, problem, issues...of the different ATV's I'm interested in (BF, KQ, Grizzly, Vinson). I originally wanted a KQ, but I'm concerned about the air filter issues. I won't be buying new, so I have to trust that the previous owner took care of their machine. Based on what I've read the Vinson seems pretty bullet proof! If all the ATV's I've read about the Vinson seems to have the least amount of things to watch out for. My question is I'm 6'2" and around 250 lbs, will a Vinson have any issues hauling my tail around? The other thing I'm thinking is being this will be my first machine, it will likely get passed down to my wife when I decide it's time for an upgrade. Any thoughts?

 

Cyklop, Don't worry about the Vinson aren't thay a 500. If so thay have plenty of power. My wife's quad is a 400 Artice Cat that huals me around just fine I have been up to a little over 55 with it, and I'm 6'1'' and 230. I ride a 06 700KQ I've been thinking about selling it and dropping down to a 500. You realy cann't go wrong in buying a KQ, for all around riding all a guy needs is a 500, most 500 well do 60 -65 mph with uot a problem, and plenty fast enough for trail riding, "IMO. The Vinson is a very nice gaud. I have a frend that has one and he love it. Good luck with you choose. Rebel700 "aka" Jeff

 

HI I have been moving up the line till I got the right bike that fits me, I am 300 and the 450 king was ok but bigger is better, so i rode a friend of mines Vinson and it fit the mold just OK but then I rode a 700 King Quad (SOLD) so now had to move up to the 08 750 and just purchased a 09 750 and will keep till the next bigger one is out.
Men will be Men bigger is BETTER
