There is no real "off" on your petcock. PRI means prime, this means that the fuel line by-passes the fuel pump/filter and goes directly into the carb (usually gravity fed). I only know this because it is the same on my old kq. I only have one PRI though, you have two? Can't help you on why there might be two. No manual, just thought I would chime in. I just leave my fuel petcock on all the time. Unless you see a spot underneath your quad, this should be fine for you as well.

thanks for clearing that up for me.
Do i need special oil for the oil injection?
the guy said he used regular 2 stroke oil, but i thouhgt i remember reading someone saying using injection oil.
is there a difference...
(Places where tha manual would come in handy )

Did you say in the Cheorokee!!LOL!! That is hardcore. Bet that is fun getting in and out. I can't say I have ever seen that before. I would definately use injection oil, although you probably would be fine with the regular 2 stroke oil (but I would use the best in this case). Good luck.

The two PRIme settings are identical. They gravity-feed fuel directly into the carb. I use them for first-of-the-day cold starts:
1) Push choke lever down.
2) Turn petcock to PRI.
3) Pull starter cord.
4) When engine starts, turn petcock to ON.
5) Run for 15-30 seconds, then lift choke lever.
Works great every time.
When not using the machine, leave the petcock in the ON position.

When the pitcock valve is on ON, should any fuel come out of the picock valve? I only see fuel out when in the PRI position. Does the diaphram in the pitcock valve serve as like a fuel pump? I'm having trouble getting an 85 LT50 to start after fuel system rebuild. Compression and fire are good. Sparkplug gets wet. I assume the fuel line for PRI goes to the carb and and the other one goes to the manifold? Any info on carb air/fuel adjustments? I am two turns out on fuel and a 1/2 turn out on air (guess). Any help would be appriciated.
