Friend at work has one,not sure,05,or 06 model.Has less than 60 miles, let it sit over winter before last, wouldn`t start. Now after another year trying to get it running.Just getting a drop or two of gas from carb bowl drain. He installed new battery last week, shot a little either in it and it ran a bit, then quit. This machine looks like new,and is in his garage.
He`s trying to get the carb off now.Anyone take the carb off this machine, and anything special about cleaning it?He has blue spark.

If it really has sat that long, and he hasn't already done so, he should change the oil, drain all gas from the tank and the carburetor, clean the carburetor well(especially the jets), re-oil the air filter, and change the spark plug. This would be the minimum that I would do.

Yes Brad,I`ve been telling him that for over a year now.I told him to remove carb bowl, remove the float, check the float seat, screw the low,and high speed jets out and run a copper wire through them.Depending on how bad the bowl looks,I might decide to go deeper. Also told him to drain gas tank, flush a little&add some seafoam to his fresh gas.
He might even be able to use the fresh gas&seafoam&try to start it again, let it soak for a few days, repeat,if it dosen`t improve he`ll have to tear into carb. He`s just like me,to many hours at work&to many hobbies.
Thanks,Dizz
