Default 2002 Ozark starting problem

I recently got a 2002 ozark that had been sunk in water. I have let it dry out for a month at least without trying to start it and in that time I removed all plastics and such to clean the carb and all. I then started it using the pull start without the plastics on. After thinking everything would be fine I attached all the plastics and bars back on and tried to use the key ignition but seen I got no power at all. No Neutral light or reverse or any attempt at starting. I just bought a new battery a few days ago too. I had it running again by using the pull start and the lights go on but are very dim. What could be my problem here? Any suggestions work. Thanks

Have you checked the 20amp main fuse on the starter relay (right side cover)?

Yea I replaced it a few times just making sure that none were bad at all. I just bought a new starter relay so I will try that to see if that helps. Hopefully it does I am starting to run out of ideas. But if you have any other suggestions I would appreciate them.

Starter relay would have been my next step.
There is also a Neutral switch & Neutral relay either of which would affect -electric start & neutral lite--but should not affect reverse lite.

Ok well I didn't receive the starter relay yet so I haven't worked on it yet, but if that doesn't work out where is the neutral switch and relay located on the quad? I haven't heard of them being on the quad.

All locations on lft side:

Neutral switch=located behind shift lever where it exits from the engine.
Black plastic with white top
2 wires red/black emerge from white epoxy.
Held in with 2 allen screws.

Neutral diode= In wire harness attached to frame straight above Neutral switch.

Neutral Relay= attached to rear of Rectifier on chassis above rear tire.

Well its good to know where they are just in case something like this ever happens again but I got the starter relay in today and put it on and got power to everything. Now I just have to figure out why its overheating. Starts no problem and all but once it runs for a few mins, the pipe right off the engine starts to glow redish. I tried some things but no success yet. Any ideas on this? I know some quads run hot like this but I don't expect it from the ozark.
