I have a suzuki qudmaster 500 that will run for about 20 minutes and then it quits and has to sit about 30 minutes before it will start back. It's like something gets hot and has to cool down before it will start. Anyone have any ideas?

 

bad spark plug, CDI box, and or magneto ( or how ever you spell it)... after you start it up and run it until it shuts off i would pull the spark plug out and check it out... then hook the plug back up and ground it by putting against the motor or the frame... (DONT HOLD ON TO IT LOL) make sure you have a good ground and roll over the motor over and check for spark... if no spark i would by a new plug and try again... then if you still dont have spark its probably your CDI box or you mag getting hot and cutting out... but if you have spark then i would suggest cleaning your carb and air filter... sorry im not much help im not an expert but i thought i would maybe give you a couple of ideas... good luck buddy
