No spark, Help

No spark, Help
My friends 1998 LTF 500 doesn't have any spark. We replaced the spark plug. There is no power to the coil, we checked the wire from the coil to the CDI box it is ok. Also checked for power and ground at the CDI box and it has both. We are thinking it is either the CDI box or the pick up coil. Does anyone know what color the wires are that come from the pick up coil and what the resistance is suppose to be? Or is there some where I can download a manual for this machine? Thanks
