I was recently given a golf cart and has a suzuki motor swap. The only thing I could find is 229cm3. It is a 4 stroke and has pull start and electric start. The guy I got it from said to mix the gas and oil not sure why he would say that when it is a 4 stroke. I would like to know more info and how many quartz of oil it takes and oil filter. Thank you

 

Pre 1985 motors hold 1.5 qt. After that they hold about 2 qt. If the filter is a cartridge behind a cover with three nuts, then just order them off ebay. Oil filter for an '86 lt230s three of them are about $12.00. If it is a different filter then I don't know what to tell ya, take the numbers to a Suzuki dealer. If it is the cartridge type, don't lose the o-ring behind the filter.
