What kinda racing? MX I would say Yes but for woods (GNCC) I would say No!

Get the LtR if you want to race.

 

yeah go for that LTR.

 

Even for GNCC XC get the LTR ..... with the 700 you will be in the open class which at some races is only a few guys.... So if you want to get the most competition go with the 450 machine..... if you only want to race a couple times a year it won't matter but if you want to stick to it and turn pro or something go with the 450....

 

If you decide on a 450 I will say YFZ 450 or the 450R as the YFZ has been king of GNCC 9 years in a row!

 

yeah if i was going to race gncc on a 450 i would probabally go YFZ.

 

The raptor isn't a racing quad. Ya I know, billy bob has this and that on his but the fact remains the same. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] LOL
I'll go against the grain on the YFZ. I'd get the LTR or a TRX long before the Yam.

 

tell that to fsa and drag racing guys. the ltr450 will get pooped on by the raptor 700 in a hillshoot or drag race. maybe if suzuki could get the efi down like yami they would be in bussiness
