Default LT 125 Wiring

Ok my 1986 LT 125 is now running fine, thanks to everyone that helped me, but now I was out riding and trying to go up a hill when the thing got stuck, so I threw it in reverse to get out of the hole and then went back to neutral, so as I was rolling backwards I hit a rock and turned sideways and ended up rolling. Now the headlight doesn't work and there are a couple of wires that were connected in the middle that came undone. Under the headlight is a complete spaghetti factory so I was wondering if I should just re-wire the lights. I know how to do it, but was just wondering if it was a good idea and if I should spend the time to figure out where the wires came from and hook them back up. the one end of the wire just seems to be floating there and I can't seem to find another end. Any suggestions will be appreciated.
