Default Checking LT50 Injector

Just picked up 1984 lt50 for my daughter and the previous owner mixed the fuel for it at 40:1. Said checking the oil was a pain so he did not use the oil injector. It seams to run a little rich so I want to use the injector. It has been 4 years since it was used. how do I make sure it oils right.

we mix and don't use the injector. if it is adjusted to low, you'll burn up the motor.
check the plug for a light beige color after riding a short distance. don't let it idle when you come to a stop. If the plug is dark it is rich. If the plug is white it is to lean.
injectors are subject to failure...mixing is the surest way to keep this quad in
top running condition for years to come.

make sure you use a good grade synthetic oil.
(like Honda Pro 2 stroke synthetic...1 bottle to 4 gal of fuel)
