Just wondering what you guys think of this machine and if $3000 is a good price. It has aftermarket headers, silencer and jets. Around 40 hours or less. Looks to be in great shape. What does everyone think?

 

Sounds a little pricey for an '03 to me. My co-worker got one that was beat up with a Yosh Pipe, DuraBlue Axle, and nerfs for $1600. And it ran.

Yea..... and you just said it was a beat pile of $hit!! That POS probably wasn't worth more than that.

$3000 is a little high though. '03s book for $2600. Even with few extras, I certaintly wouldn't offer more than $2650. When it comes to re-sale, extras don't mean anything. You can maybe add 25% of the original cost to the price for the extras. Meaning, for every $100 in extras, add $25 to your offer price.

 

I would agree that 3k for a 2003 is a little higher than average.....but f it really is that nice it might be worth it. Condition makes a big difference.

Yeah, I didn't say it WAS worth more than that....I was just giving the topic starter a point of reference.

 

i tried selling my 05 kfx400 with full carbon yoshi nerfs bars hand guards for 2500 an got 0 interests. i wouldnt pay over 2grand for any 03 no matter how nice.
