although, come to think of it, i already have a 2 smoke, and i dont really like hospital bills...

so maybe a 400ex motor... idk yet, im just gonna have one FUN time finding one cheep...

but then, its a honda motor! i cant have that! id have to j-b in the logos in the sidecover and engrave suzuki into them! haha! i'll get some "lt400s" graphics made up to appear like the stock ones! now THAT would be pretty sick.....

also, for the swingarm, depending on how 86qscamo's swingarm swap works out, i may opt for an lt250r swingarm, since i should have a spare sitting around pretty soon...

Man I don't know, sounds like a lot of time and money. I bet you could find a decent beat up Z400 for about the same and work from there! A full rolling 230 chassis might get kind of spendy. I've seen a full KFX chassis on my Craigs for $500! If I had the cash, I would loved to gotten it and dropped my 230 motor in there!

I'm not sure what to say.... What are you trying to accomplish? You want to find something on which to put those arms that you worked so hard on??? How tight of trails do you ride?

eh, tight enough that if i widened it, both tires would scrape in between some trees. and i like to have a little wiggle room so i can rip without worry...

and you know, i dont think i have it in me to put a honDUH motor in my bike... or a yamaNAH.

change of plans #2 - continue building arms, make longer tie rods, buy extra swingarm, carrier, axle, sprocket, chain, and brake disc. make an easily swappable setup (no permanent upper shock mount mod) so it would be just a matter of unbolting and rebolting stuff when i wanna change setups... extend spare swingarm and have the whole thing setup so all i gotta do is transfer the wheel hubs and brake setup over (i got an extra long brake line, should be fine for both swingers.

my ported 243 should be beastly enough for me. even when compression was down it kept 300ex's , mojaves, and warriors in thier places at all times with the stock bore...

i think that would be the most economical way to go. and i should be able to swap between setups in like an hour.

here lt230sman this is what im going to do if i could ever sell my kart . item#320370153798

View larger picture its funny how much we all spend on rebuilding a motor and when were done we still cant touch one of these. Ive got a buddy with a gsxr, when parked next to my lt230 it looks like it would fit with minor mods and a different fuel tank and its still a suzuki.

My buddy had an H2 done up for drag racing. He traded a Galaxy 500 for it. Anyway, another friend with a gsxr 1100 was leaning down giving it all it had and still couldn't keep up with the 750 with the rider just casually riding in the upright position.

Default Wideing kit

Hey just start measuring to make a kit like Diamond J's. I don't want to just make one. It takes a lot of time to setup a jig and everything. Anybody on here want a bolt on widening kit? I would like to make about ten or so. Let me know.
