I have a 97 lt160 and need to replace the brakes, but can't get the front hubs off. Manual says to use a bar thru a hole on the inside and pound it out. Tried that but didn't want to "pound" too hard for fear I would ruin the hub - I have a tendancy to due that. Anyone know the best way to get these hubs off?

Try backing off the brake adjustment.

 

Thanks LT80, "backing off the brake adjustment" - is this loosing the cable to make sure the brake is not engaging the hub?
