Default How do I get more power?

I have had no luck finding a performance CDI/REV box. How can i get more power out of my wheeler? I only have 26 inch tires so a big wheel clutch kit is out. Should I buy a pipe and get the carb rejetted?

That would help. I think Big Gun has a decent Sport Utility Pipe line-up.

Get a nice factory sticker pack....... each cool sticker will give you an extra .001 HP ....give or take .001 or so.......

Pipe and jetting always help.......

Pipe, Filter, and a rejet are the way to go, and you need to do all three together

I went with an HMF "Utility Series" pipe with a "quiet core" insert (you'll need the core or it will be way too loud, trust me on this) a UNI filter, and I installed a Dial-A-Jet system since I travel to different locations/altitudes and frequently need to make jetting adjustments.

Where I ride it would be foolish to take the airbox lid off, but IMO even if it wasn't really wet/muddy where you ride, the increase in airflow with the airbox lid removed isn't going to make any significant difference in power with your big Vinny, and it definitely makes it noisier (if that matters to you).

If you are running an auto with larger than stock tires, you should install a clutch kit
