RM250 engine in a LT250R???

hey guys hows it goin?? I can get a 92 quadracer 250 with a blown motor and i found a 96 rm250 engine for cheap. How much work do you think it would be to put the rm engine in the quadracer??

itll work but you may have to do some fabbing. but remember that the rm engine doesnt have counter balancers in it so it doesnt feel as smooth in the quad. but its a heck of an engine to go in that light weight frame

It will work, BUT like hillclimber said, no counterbalancer= ALOT of hand numbing, bolt losening vibration. Bad news.
Also, the bike clutches and transmissions are not as strong as the ones built for ATV use. Remember the bike weighs maybe 350 LBS with rider, the quad weighs 500+ with rider. Also, the bike engines are timed and ported different than their quad use cousins. It may have a very funky powerband once in a quad.
It won't be much, if any faster with the bike engine.
