eiger automatic CVT drain?
#1
My son drove his eiger in some deep water and it made a funny noise and died. It started back up and ran funny for a mile or two but then ran fine after. Is there a way to check to see if he got water in the CVT? I see a metal drain plug but no clear plastic check point. I bought it used so I do not have the manual and have not bought a clymer yet. If he did get some water in the CVT belt area what would you recommend?

If he did get water in the belt housing is there anything special I should do other than drain the housing?</end quote></div>
Nea just drain it. Happens all the time. As far as it running weird.. was it slipping or having problems changing gears? If it was the engine that was acting weird it could have sucked water into the airbox.
