Default Quieting loud pipe

Just bought an 04 Suzuki Ltz-250 for my son. It came with a Yoshimura pipe. Its a little loud for me and my neighbors. Can anything be done to quiet the pipe or should i just look for a stock one. If so, where can iI find it.

Thanks ,
spikey1

if you want it quiet, dont massacure the pipe trying to quiet it down. for OEM parts i shop www.bikebandit.com/. go to oem parts and select your year & model. they will have an oem pipe. it may cost you though. you could find a used one on ebay, or put an add on craigslist. you can always sell the yoshimara for a good chunk of change

I know when I bought my Yoshi RS-3 it came with 3 different quite cores and with the smallest one in it drasticly quites it down. I would suggest that so you dont have to lose power. You might have to adjust the jetting slightly because you are changing the back pressure. But you would have to change it anyway if you put the stock pipe back on so no big deal.

If you're not worried about performance, find someone and trade them for their stock exhaust. You could probably even make a few bucks off of them.
