Default 06 z400 chain problems help please!!

got an 06 z400 and the chain started jumping on the rear sprocket and i looked and the front sprocket was missing teeth so i changed it and now when i ride it it pops real loud and some times squeaks loud i have also noticed that when its not running and i pull it by hand backwards the chain gets really tight and i can barely pull it i was wondering if any one knew a solution to this problem it would be greatly appricated thanks

well, chains tend not to stretch completely evenly, so chances are thats why it goes tight to lose, and vice versa.

your best bet would be to get an new ORING chain (RK520SRO5 is great, cheep stuff) and rear sprocket. you should never put a new chain on worn sprockets, so you might wanna replace the front again, especially if its been under strenuous conditions like the varying tension.

while youre at it, check you carrier, output shaft, and swingarm bearings.

good luck!

just make sure you stay away from the non o-ring ****!!!!!

absoloutley WORTHLESS!

they stretch like rubber bands and dont track as straight as thier beefier, sealed counterparts.
