i guess im gonna have to ask around, cuz the shop i do most of my business with just sends my stuff out to la sleeve, and im pretty sure a regualar ol auto parts store with a "machine shop" in the back room wont be able to help, and thats about all thats near me hahaha

 

check with a local or not so local automotive block boring shop. they should be able to do single cylinders

 

There's a lot of aftermarket parts for 250x out there. Or there used to be before the 400's came along.

The problem with boring the sleeve too thin is distortion. Who knows what exactly defines too thin though?

I'm actually not that huge of a wiseco fan anymore. I kinda like Arias now that I've seen some of their work. Maybe they could churn out a custom piston for a reasonable fee.

 

yeah arias makes pretty good pistons.

now if only i could get keith black to whip me up some fancy custom pistons... hahaha

 

Yeah, KB has pretty good pistons too. At least they put a lot of R&D into them.
