LT230 Bore

LT230 Bore
alright well my 230's beginning to burn more oil than it does gas, and the compression is a bit down too. and i got a race comin up quick!
so, instead of just bore it to the next overbore, being myself ima go as far as i can with it.
kustom kraft's or fst's 260 kits look nice but they might take too long. so, i was wondering, just how big can i go with a stock sleeve? +4mm (+0.160in)? that should put me at 243 wich should be good enough for now.
my next question would be what do i do for the piston? i know its gonna be wiseco, but how do i get the p/n? they only show pistons up to +2mm. would i just say "give me a 70mm piston for an 86 suzuki lt230s"? or do they need more specs? i guess they shouldnt though cuz they obviously have the specs to make the other 230 pistons...

2mm is as big as they get. The 70mm is the big bore piston.

only 125 to go to the 70mm??? (the reason my price was 170 was because it was a kit with a top end gasket set btw)
can i do that with the stock sleeve?
if so, whered you find the piston, and whats the CR on it?
oh and my crank was just re-done last year by vinces cycle, so i think i should be good with the bearings...

if you check with your local engine boring shop they may be able to go larger and get you a custom piston cheaper than a wiseco kit. i got a 250x bored once and could only go 2mm over unless getting a special kit. the machine shop i go to had tons of catalogs and the guy there found me a real nice piston set that we put in it. it was even high compression. so then we bumped up to a mild race cam and that thing would really hall
