Default 02 eiger valves

Im in the process of adjusting/inspecting my valves on my 02 eiger, can anyone tell me if they have ever done this and found that there is no clearance between the valve stem and the adjusting screw. This may be normal but im not sure I had thought that there would be a gap there and it would need to be closed a little. There is not even any room for the feeler guage to even check it. Oh, and I did make sure that the piston is top dead center. Thanks.
