KQ 700 new battery - ERR CHECK is displayed

Hi All,

I just slapped in a New Yuasa -20 Battery in my bro-in-laws KQ-700. It starts fine and all except on the speedo display it reads "ERR - CHECK"

What gives? Any ideas? I don't have the owners/operators manual or service manual

I thought ERR check was an indication that the kill switch was on. Does ERR check stay on when it is running? I heard if you get sick of replacing batteries in the 05 King Quads you get a message on the display that says, "Buy a Honda". HaHa!!!!!!!!!
