Default LT80 wont start after carb came loose

OK ... I have a 2000 LT80 that was running a bit rough so I did some tune up on it .. new plug, new plug cap, cleaned air filter, removed carb and cleaned & boiled. After I got it all back together it cranked right up ... I adjusted the idle a bit and it was running as good as new. However, after riding it for a bit, my son (who was supposed to tighten the carb up) noticed that the carb was coming loose and about that time the atv died. I pulled the carb again, cleaned again, put it back on, tight. Now it will not start. Sounds like it's not even getting a spark, but I guess it could be a gas thing as well. I loosened the bowl screw at the bottom of the carb and gas came out, so it's getting in there. Did a compression test .. 120. Tried 3 different plugs ... no help. Anyone have any idea what could have happened with a loose carb ... am I missing something? Any help much appreciated!!

Is the plug wet after trying to start?
If not, try hand choking it (2 fingers in front of the carb). I donno why but sometimes you have to do that to get it to suck the fuel in.
