Default 2006 Eiger 400 4x4 auto stuck in 1st

I am looking at a 2005 eiger 400 4x4. It has a problem, it will not come out of first gear(only300milesonit). Owner states that it started doing that after dealer adjust the carb. Does anyone know the cause of this. Also is it an atv I should buy or stay away from. i will just be doing alot of riding dont really need the 4x4. How easy is it to overheat? Soes anyone know how fast it will go, sluggish or speedy?

thanks

It must be a semi-auto not auto since stuck in 1st gear. Sorry I only have auto and not sure about semi-auto.

buy or stay away: The Eiger is a good ATV but not sure about this one with it stuck in 1st.

It is not a sport so it will not brake any speed records. If your looking for speed you may want to look at a sport ATV.
There is NOT any overheat issues with the Eiger. The oil cooler is high enough to keep most mud out of it and it has a fan to help pull the air through when needed.

The eiger doesnt overheat even after a full days riding in harsh terrain i barely ever hear the fan come on my kingquad 400. Its fast i had mine up to 85km not even full throttle and its good to have the 4wd of the eiger, but if you want speed get a sport quad
