Default Vinson Control Panel Question

I just bought a used Vinson and can't figure out what the red switch is for on the left side of the control panel. There's no mention of it in the owner's manual, and it is clearly original from the factory.
Any help?

Thanks, but the kill switch is on the handle bar. This is on the instrument panel housing.

I see, mine doesn't have that, it's not for a hand or thumb warmer is it?

I put in switches just like that for hand and thumb warmers, only i put them on either side of the ignition. You could also take of that plastic piece ( 3 screws ) and trace the wires.

I was wrong...it is NOT factory. BUT, it's a really good job of making it look as if it is part of original equipment.

Anyway, I traced the wires (with some difficulty) and found them capped off near the front bumper, probably for fog lights. They are still connected to the battery through a junction.

Thanks, everyone.
