rejetting?

Default rejetting?

87 lt250r procircuit exhaust, boyeson reeds. pretty much it for the engine. wondering if I should re jet and what should I re jet to? im clueless when it comes to this ****. oh stock carb

hey welcome to the forum!

you got a better air filter, right?

ill, assume that you do, and id say go like 1/8 turn in on the air pilot screw, and one or two numbers up on the main. i'd see how it runs like that and if it still seems a little lean in the midrange, or has a funny throttle response, i'd drop the needle clip down one notch. just keep in mind that it's always safer to be a little too rich than too lean on a 2 stroke since the air/fuel mixture is an important part of the cooling system, and it IS the lubrication system.

Doesnt really matter how you jet it or what you do to it...It will never be as cool or as fast as a 2007 Honda 450er...


p.s. - What kind of a name is stackpoole anyways?

that may be true but I only paid 500$ for my quad. And if I remember correctly Ill take you for the first 2 gears. id say thats pretty impressive for a 500 dollar quad. oh and to make fun of stackpoole is only talkin **** about your own heritage dumb ***!

You do have me there...Cut me deep you do stackpoole...Ah but your quad is in my garage...and Ill tamper with it....Muahahahaah...You do get me in first and second...jerk....Had I known for 500 bucks I could have what you have I wouldve saved 9500 bucks...lol..
