Default Attention All 1987-90 LT250R Owners!!!

Alright, so I have an '86 LT250R and I killed the swingarm. So, I made the upgrade to a 1987-90 type swinger, and all is well except my rear caliper. The bar/strut/tube/thing (Suzuki calls it a "torque link") that goes from the swinger to the caliper bracket appears to be too long (I'm using my old one). Mine measures just over 10". Would it be possible for somebody to measure thiers? (hehe)

I cant compare P/N's since Suzuki only lists the one for the 85-86 (I guess they figure they can keep selling those things since theyre always getting bent from those sucky *** swingers breaking lol).

Thanks

yep, that's the part in question. im wondering if the 87+ ones are shorter or longer than the 85-86 ones, since i just put an 87 swinger on my 86 LT250R, and the brake caliper doesnt seem to want to work with the 86 link thingy.

i see you have an 89, do you think you could measure that piece for me? (from bolt to bolt)

thanks

here you go, looks like 8 1/4 inches center to center with a little bit of a offset, maybe a 1/4 inch
