New KQ 450, need help with winch install.
Guys, after deciding between the Grizzly 450 and the KQ 450, I've decided to go with fuel injection and bought the KQ450 without looking back.
However, when I bought the KQ 450, I did not get a winch install through the dealer. They wanted an arm and a leg for it so I pass and feel confident that I could probably do it myself. Being that this is my first ATV, I want to make sure I do it right the first time. I can mount the winch and all, but how do you guys have your wires routed back to the battery? Can someone post pics of how their's is done? what to watch for? etc...?
Any help would be much appreciated.
Kevin.

Pop the engine side covers off.
On my KQ400, there was a factory installed tube to route the winch wiring from the battery to the front of the quad. The tube was/is attached to the top left frame rail.
Under the left rear fender, there was a metal plate welded to the frame and pre-drilled for the winch contactor (relay).
Like the winches themselves, the relays seem to have the same mounting bolt pattern.
