Airbox and Carb mods come to mind...
Open the airbox up; this will increase intake air flow.
Increased airflow and your exhaust mods require carb mods---rejetting is required.
You will need to richen the mixture via a new jet. This will compensate for the leaner mixture provided by an increased airflow.
More fuel (at proper mixture ratio)=more power (and lower mpg).

a kid i talked to told me that hes got 650 jug that would bolt up to my 500 crankcase with alittle machining on the sleeve and the crankcase itself... plus he was telling about drill out some wholes in my carb to gain throttle response... as for the jug he told me i could use the same cam chain but would need the 650 piston valves and cam... the 650 jug would actually figure out to be 618cc but its still bigger then my stock 500... has anyone tried a swope like this before?
