I found a guy selling a 91 Suzuki King Quad 300.
It is in EXCELLENT condition. He is an older gentleman who only used this bike for mowing his
lawn and giving his grandkids rides. He has "pampered" this bike right down to the wax job he
gives it once or twice a year. He is asking $2500, and I believe he'll take a little less.
Does this sound fair??

Considering that a new one is 5500, I think that sounds reasonable. Make sure that you check the exhaust, a rotted exhaust will cost $250 and up to replace. Also keep in mind that even though a spit shine was kept on the cosmetics, he may not have been so meticulous about changing oil, greasing, etc.

I have a buddy, that bought a 94 king for $1500. If his is in like new condition, with low mileage, it may be worth it.. I have a 00 King, that I'll sell for $4000. with a set of Vamps, warn winch, hi-lifter performance kit, and the still new stock tires as an extra set.. Of course, it probably has harder miles than the one you're looking at.. Good Luck..

I bought my 91 king quad a year ago for $1000. It had 1200 miles on it. I figured he turned the speedometer off and lied about that to me. Only bad thing was racks were rusted and one fender was cracked. Other then that its still going good.
