hey everyone i have a 86 230 quadrunner and i have a very very high idle problem it has no problem starting but as soon as i jump on the bike and put it in gear it takes off will out me giving it any gas and than it keeps building it idle up untill the motor is screaming but if it runs over rough ground it stops idling high and comes back to normal but as soon as i get back on smooth ground she idles back up agian and if i giver the gas she spits a sputters and starts to bog out but the choke is off does anyone know what is doing this and how i can fix it

 

sounds like you have an air leak... how's the rubber carb boot look? Cracked?

 

the rubber boot looks good no holes or cracks
