My quad 250 Suzuki gets hard to start and hisitates when I throttle up and stalls out after riding it for 15 to 20 minutes. It starts perfect when cold and when it warms up and starts to act up I let it sit for 4 or 5 minutes , it works ok again. I changed the spark plug and CDI and cleaned the carb. before replacing the float with no satisfaction. would a worn valve head cause this problem because after setting the valves a couple of times ,I can still hear a clicking sound coming from the valve head. This machine has a coil connected to the spark plug wire with a ground and a hot wire going to it, is there a method for checking this ????. If anyone has any suggestions it sure would be appreciated. Hey Josh are you still out there ,LOL.

 

i have the same problem cold it start in like 1 or 2 kick but after 15 or more riding if i stop it i cant do anything i kick and kick ..... nothing happend it wont start i have to wait so it cold off and it goes good
if anybody can anwser it could help me as well

sounds like valves to me

 

yup adjust your valves a little looser
